- Allison Corona
- Hi, my name is Allison. I’m a photographer based in Boise, ID. I specialize in interiors with an editorial flair. I received my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Boise State University. I believe my education is what sets me apart from your average person with a fancy camera. If anything, it shows you how damn dedicated I am to my craft. When I’m not shooting for clients, I work on my personal projects. Work from my ongoing photographic series, “Spaces of Cultural Comfort,” has been exhibited locally at the Boise Art Museum and three pieces have been acquired by the City of Boise to be included in the Boise Visual Chronicle, a permanent collection of artworks. When I’m not photographing, I like to go out thrifting. Please check out my Etsy store for badass vintage housewares and accessories. I’m a quiet person by nature but contrary to popular opinion, I’m not shy. I curse like a sailor around my friends + family and sometimes on this blog.

Darnell + Kim: Century Hall and Gardens Wedding
Darnell and Kim were married in the lovely Century Hall and Gardens in Eagle, ID. They had a beautiful wedding. I was invited as a guest but I took along my cameras. Their awesome photographer, Ali Williams of AK Photography, was so kind to let me snap a few shots.

Boise Idaho Wedding & Bridal Session: Melissa + Mitch
I have known Melissa for almost three years now. We both work for Boise State as university photographers. I love working with her. Her stories are always fun and she has a beautiful personality. She's one of those people that you wish you could be like because she is always laughing and having a good time. When she told me she was engaged to her high school sweet heart I was so happy for her. Her face lit up when she told me the story of how they met for the first time. Melissa met Mitch when they were sixteen years old at a friend's birthday party. She immediately liked him but he had a girlfriend at the time. She remembers how she couldn't stop talking about him at a sleepover on her friends trampoline a few days later. She even wrote a poem about him! Several days later she saw him again and during a game of twenty questions, Mitch's last question to her was: "Will you be my girlfriend?" They went on their first date on September 15, 2002 and they've been together ever since. Mitch proposed on December 25, 2008. They married on September 13, 2009.
Melissa and Mitch, thank you for inviting me to share this special day with you and for trusting me to photograph it knowing that it would be my first wedding. Not very many brides would do that!

"These Things Take Time" - 2:23
About two weeks ago my friend and co-worker Melissa and her boyfriend of 6 years got married. I was asked to photograph their special day. It was my first wedding and I was super nervous. I am processing the photos now and I realize that weddings are definitely a two photographer event. I wish I would have had a second shooter to help relieve some of the stress. I feel like I didn't have enough time to be creative. Here is a sneak peek at the bridal session. I'll post the rest later tonight or perhaps tomorrow. (Please keep in mind that this was my first wedding so don't be too harsh if you think it's horrible).
